Default Recipe Software?

Is there a recipe software that you use for organization of your recipes? Mine are soooo scattered here and there. I try to keep the ones we reallly liked separated so I can find them again easily but I'm losing the battle!

Couldn't you organize them using one of the office programs?

I have Open Office and it's great. You still have to sit down and either scan in a document or type in the recipes, but its free!

I don't have an office program but it certainly sounds like a great idea if it
would work for me, yes. I had a little shareware/freeware many years ago
with an old computer but that surely wouldn't run with the new OS's. Thanks
for the idea... I'll check into how to do that.
