The most interesting recipe I'm bringing to a potluck tomorrow. It's called broccoli cornbread. You take a cornbread mix and add eggs, cottage cheese, and a box of well-drained broccoli. Sounds delicious to me; it will get its acid test tomorrow! |

I got a good portion of raves from the adults. Nearly all my middle school kids asked "What was the green stuff?" and when I told them it was broccoli, they were really surprised. Might be the the way you can get broccoli down your picky eater. |

I try to take desserts that have no chocolate, to pot lucks and picnics.
I can't remember the thousands of times I coudln't have dessert because no one thought about those of us who are allergic to chocolate. Lemon bars are always good! LOL |

Hey there ya go! Luckily my daughter always liked broccoli, but I wasn't above suggesting she hide things like peas in her mashed potatoes so she wouldn't have to taste them. ![]() I'm glad to hear that your cornbread was a hit! |
