Post How do you stay fit and healthy?

We all have our pet methods that work best for us. What works for one need not necessarily work for everyone. I drink plenty of water, keep myself busy with household chores and gardening, take two walks per day with the dog, and keep away from fried foods, sweets, meat, and alcohol. This keeps me fit and healthy always. I hardly do any exercises.

So, how do you stay fit and healthy?

It varies throughout the year for me. I like to go to the gym. However, in the winter I become glued to the chair in front of my computer. I don't feel motivated to work out in the winter. In the summer, I work up a sweat in the garden, or walk to the local arboretum.

I guess I like to get my exercise outside, when it's nice out.

I just keep myself minding my child and taking a walk if there is free time. I also do household chores and eat the right food. I never skip watching a funny movie to make me laugh and of course, think of positive things even if sometimes problems come along the way.

I walk outdoors when the weather is nice, and keep stressful people and situations down to the bare minimum.

Other than those two things, I stay pretty relaxed about my health and fitness levels.

Basically it's just "little things" for me. I try to always get enough water and I try to serve more veggies than before, watch what we eat, and take a few vitamins and supplements.

We have a treadmill but I really need to use it more than I've been... but now it's soon going to be hot again so I'll have to see about putting a fan near the treadmill. It has one built in but it really doesn't help much.
