Default What to rent?

I just got a voucher for a free rental from Blockbuster (wohoo!) so any suggestions on what I should rent? I'm thinking Tropic Thunder but I reckon it won't be as funny as I think it will be.

Any suggestions (for those of you from the lovely USA please don't say anything really recent as in the UK we're always a little behind!)?

Cheers!

Have you seen Pink Panther. I think that movie is really funny. Actually, here in the US Pink Panther 2 is coming out. I am not a movie theater person, but decided that my family is going to see it there. We all laughed really hard at the first one. My bf isn't one for comedies, but he couldn't stop laughing at this one.

Hope you like it if you decide to rent it.

I'm sold! I'll rent it when it comes out. I'm thinking maybe Wall-e too. Has anyone seen it? Is it as good as they say it is?

I haven't seen Pink Panther, yet. However, the previews looked pretty funny. Steve Martin is in it, right? I do love his movies. Nothing makes me laugh more. I really like the French movies; Amelie, The Long Engagement, Delicatessan -- if you don't mind subtitles.

Have you seen Dark Night yet? I see that you decided to rent Pink Panther but if you wanted to get 2 maybe, get Dark Night also! I don't want to give it away... but man was that a good movie.

Default It's Your Lucky Day

With you getting a free rental from Blockbuster, I am reminded of a promotional strategy that is used by one of our local video shops: they call you and say "It's your lucky day" and if you come into the video shop before closing you get a free rental. Great idea, we've been called at least five times in the last year!

I've heard Tropic Thunder is great.

I hope you like the Pink Panther. I haven't seen the remakes, but I love Steve Martin.

Recently I've been very impressed with Vince Vaughn in Be Cool and Wedding Crashers. I'll be keeping an eye out for his movies in the future.

Lucky you! Wish I could get a free rental too! Regarding movies, I love anything that can make me laugh. I suggest you go in for Pink Panther, unless you prefer some other movie, of course.

Pink Panther was good, and I really enjoyed Wall-E. It wasn't quite as good as I was expecting it to be, but it was still worth watching.

I've also heard nothing but good things about Ironman.

Robert Downey Jr. sure turned his life and career around. I think he's a great actor.

Wow, with all these recommendations for Pink Panther, I'll have to go pick
that one up for myself, too.

Did you ever see him in the Ian Mckellan version of Richard the Third? He played a playboy who is the queen's brother and he does a tremendous job in the role. And he was very good in Iron Man as well.

I got one today that should be fun to watch... to get a little laughter in my life... well, hopefully! It's the newly released Beverly Hills Chihuahua... released on 03 March.

I haven’t seen the movie “Pink Panther 2” but I would recommend it because I have enjoyed the first movie.

I'm miffed at one of our video shops (we have two in town). The one closest to us won't be offering Milk. I have waited to see this movie, and they won't be getting it because apparently the owners don't want a "gay movie" in their place.
I know it's their call, but I don't need anyone to censor what I choose to watch. After all they've got shoot-em-ups and slasher movies there, and I wouldn't really call those "Christian" movies. A bit of hypocrisy there, eh? I'll be giving their competition the business.
