Default Futon Plans

I am new to this forum, so I would like to say hi first. I would also like to know if anyone out there has any plans for building a futon frame. Most I have seen for sale are close to $500. I figure I can build one for less than that and have more fun. Thanks

Yep - you have to figure the labor costs and business overhead that goes into every piece of furniture you buy - even the cheap particle board junk falls into that category (Sauder comes to mind....). The only problem you may have is the upholstery portion of the project - that is unless you just intend to buy premade cushions.

Best of luck
